Privacy policy

Psychelit is a studio that builds mobile apps. This policy explains what our apps and website collect, why, what we will never do with your data, and the rights you have over it. It applies to Streamblix, this website, and any future Psychelit app.

The short version

We collect as little as possible. We do not sell your data, we do not run advertising or build advertising profiles, and the content you load into our apps, such as your IPTV playlists, stays on your device. We are not able to see it.

Who we are

Psychelit is an independent mobile app studio. When this policy says we, us, or Psychelit, it means the studio that publishes the apps and operates this website, and which acts as the controller of the limited data described here. You can reach us at support@psychelit.com.

What we collect

We do not require an account to use our apps. The limited data we process falls into two groups:

Crash and diagnostic data. When the app crashes or misbehaves, we receive a technical report through Google Firebase Crashlytics. This includes the device model, operating system version, and a stack trace of what went wrong. It helps us fix bugs.

Basic usage analytics. We may collect anonymous, aggregated signals about which features are used, through Firebase Analytics, so we can decide what to improve. These are not tied to your identity.

What we do not collect

We do not collect your name, your location, your contacts, your photos, or the contents of your playlists and streams. Streamblix is a player. The playlists, credentials, and program guides you add are stored locally on your device and are never sent to us. We do not run advertising software development kits, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

The Psychelit website

This website uses Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand aggregate page views and real-world loading performance. These are privacy-friendly by design: they do not use cookies, do not store personal information, and do not build a profile of you or follow you across other sites. We do not place advertising or social-media trackers on this site.

Permissions our apps ask for

Network and Wi-Fi state. To stream media and tell you when you are offline.

Notifications. Only if you opt in, so we can remind you about a program you asked to be reminded about. You can turn this off in your device settings at any time.

Run a foreground service. So playback and playlist syncing keep working while the app is in the background.

How we use what we collect

To keep the apps and website working, fix crashes, understand which features matter, keep our services secure, and meet our legal obligations. That is the full list. We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell it to anyone.

Service providers we rely on

We keep our list of providers short, and we share only the limited data each one needs to do its job:

Google Play. Distributes our Android apps and handles any purchases.

Google Firebase. Provides crash reporting (Crashlytics) and anonymous usage analytics (Analytics).

Vercel. Hosts this website and provides the cookieless analytics described above.

Each provider processes data only for the purposes set out here and is bound by its own privacy terms, which we do not control.

Who we share it with

We share the limited data above only with the service providers listed above, and only as needed for the purposes described here. We may also disclose information where the law genuinely requires it, such as a valid legal request. We never sell your data and we never share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Legal bases for processing (EU and UK)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process the limited data above on these legal bases:

Legitimate interests. To fix crashes, improve the apps, and keep them secure, balanced against your privacy.

Consent. For optional features you switch on, such as notifications. You can withdraw consent at any time.

Legal obligation. Where we must process data to comply with the law.

Your privacy rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the limited diagnostic data associated with you, to restrict or object to our processing, or to receive a copy of it. Because the content you add to the apps lives on your device, you can remove most of it yourself by uninstalling.

California residents. We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. You have the right to know what we process, to request deletion, and not to be treated differently for exercising these rights.

EEA and UK residents. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority, though we hope you will contact us first so we can put things right.

To exercise any of these rights, email support@psychelit.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Tracking signals and automated decisions

We honor Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals where they apply. In practice this changes little, because we do not track you across other apps or websites in the first place.

We do not make automated decisions about you that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

International data transfers

Our providers may process data on servers located in countries other than your own. Where they do, they are responsible for maintaining appropriate safeguards for that transfer under applicable law.

Keeping and deleting your data

Diagnostic and analytics data is retained only as long as it is useful for the purposes above, then deleted. Because the content you add to the apps lives on your device, uninstalling the app removes it. If you want us to delete any diagnostic data associated with you, email support@psychelit.com and we will handle it within a reasonable time.

Children

Our apps are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with data, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the limited data we process. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but we keep our footprint small on purpose.

Other services and links

Our apps and website may link to third-party sites or rely on third-party services such as Google Firebase and Vercel. Their use of data is governed by their own policies, which we do not control.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, note the change in the app. Continued use of our apps or website after a change means you accept the updated policy.
