How to watch IPTV on Samsung and LG smart TVs in 2026

Samsung and LG smart TVs are everywhere, but they do not run Android. Samsung uses Tizen and LG uses webOS, each with its own app store. That means Android players do not install on them directly; you use the native smart-TV apps instead. The basics are the same, though: bring an M3U or Xtream source and an app plays it. This guide covers what works on these TVs in 2026.

The apps that work on Samsung and LG

The smart-TV IPTV world has its own well-known apps. Availability changes and some are paid, so check your TV's store:

• Native store IPTV players such as SIPTV (Smart IPTV), IPTV Smarters, and similar Tizen/webOS apps. These load your playlist, show a program guide, and handle favourites.
• Device-key portal apps, where you install the app on the TV, then upload your playlist to a web page using the app's device key or MAC address. The playlist then appears on the TV. Common on smart TVs, sometimes with a small one-time fee.
